The unemployment rate has increased in Romania

By the end of September, there were more than 670.000 jobless people in Romania. Most of them are recent graduates who have a degree, but don’t have enough experience to be hired. The Romanian Government announces that there will be 760.000 jobless people by the end of this year, because many of them will be fired. The Romanian unemployment rate is about 8,5%.

This fact causes the massive immigration of Romanians to the Western countries, such as Italy, France, Great Britain, Spain or even Canada and USA. Since 2007 when Romania joined the European Union, the citizens can travel and work throughout the whole European space with no restrictions.
